Frequently asked questions
Is it a 3? Is it an "E"? I'm confused! We get it. Our name is pronounced "Triune," which is a nod to the Christian foundations our company is built on and our Triune God, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
Three things set us apart. We co-create. We don't sell packages. We listen to what you need, ask good questions, and then suggest how we can support you. We're aligned with your mission. We want to handle the business side of your ministry so you can focus on the ministry itself. We care about your mission, and we look for ways to help advance it.We learn from every organization we serve. Because we work with many schools, churches, and non-profits, we're always picking up what works and applying it to the others.
It depends on what your organization needs, and we'll figure that out together.Often, we work alongside your current team. We take on the work that's outside their wheelhouse or too much for one person, and we suggest simpler processes where they'd help. Your people keep doing what they do well, with more backup.Sometimes we take over a role completely. That might be because someone is retiring or moving on, or because a leader would rather not handle that work in-house anymore. If a change affects someone's job, we build in plenty of transition time so you can communicate it well before we step in.Either way, you get a dedicated team member who knows your organization, backed by the expertise of our whole company. You won't need to add another salary to get there.
Yes. No two organizations are alike, so we don't hand anyone a one-size-fits-all package. We start with a conversation about your goals and a look at your current books and HR setup. Sometimes we also talk with your board. From there, we shape the scope of services, how often we meet, the pricing, and which team members work with you around what your organization needs. And if your needs change, your scope can grow or shrink with you. You only pay for the support you need.
It depends on what works best for you. We co-create solutions to fit your organization, and that includes how we show up.Some clients have us in their office every week. Some invite us into board meetings. Others are happy working fully remote. We'll talk through what makes sense for your team and adjust as your needs change.
We have standardized systems that we've found work well for schools, churches, and non-profits, and we'll usually recommend them because they help us deliver accurate, consistent support. That said, we know every organization has a history with its tools. If it makes sense, we can sometimes work within your existing systems. We'll talk through the options together and recommend what's best for you.
Usually about six months from start to fully integrated. In the first three months, we focus on the big pieces: getting to know your organization, understanding your needs, and getting the foundation in place. Over the next three months, we settle in and become a fully integrated part of how your organization runs.Every organization is different, so we'll talk through what to expect for yours before we begin.
You know your organization best, so the decisions are always yours. We'll share our recommendation and explain why. If you choose a different path, we'll keep supporting you.The one exception is anything that puts your organization at real risk, like a compliance issue. In those cases, we'll be direct with you and make sure you understand the stakes.
It depends on how your organization is set up. Often, we work with the executive director, senior pastor, administrative pastor, principal, or head of school. Sometimes it's a team member who's financially gifted but could use some extra support. We'll work out the right point of contact together during our first conversations.
No, but we are unashamed that our beliefs color everything we do. We are committed to treating each client we serve with Christ-like love and compassion.
No, we're not an auditing firm, but we can help you get ready for one. We can clean up your books beforehand, organize your records, prepare schedules, and act as the main contact for your auditor. And if you need an auditor, we can help you find one.
